                           Smoking - Drug Addiction Smoking is a popular activity for many people who continue to enjoy it even though they are well aware of the health risks.    The main reason for this is nicotine addiction. Tobacco contains nicotine - a stimulant which affects both the mind and the body. Effects of Smoking: Smokers claim that it helps them to relax or gives them an energy boost or ‘rush’. They argue that it relieves stress, increases concentration. Many smokers find that the first time they smoke they feel sick, dizzy or get a headache. Tobacco smoke contains nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide and other chemicals which when inhaled, increases heart rate, blood pressure and respiration. It causes a surge in energy which is due to the release of adrenaline. This causes that energy boost and also acts upon insulin production which smokers believe suppresses their appetite. BRAIN TUMOUR Introduction: No one wills to hear the words, “ it’s a brain tumor ,” and in that stage, everything become different. You need to process the symptomatic diagnosis, experience a new and challenging vocabulary, and make decisions about a course of treatment in a short span of time. A tumor develops the normal or abnormal cells and multiplies when they are not needed. A brain tumor is a mass of unnecessary cells growing in the brain. There are two kinds of brain tumors: 1.       Primary brain tumors, that starts and tends to stay in the brain. 2.       Metastatic (Secondary) brain tumors, that begins as cancer elsewhere in the body and spreads to the brain. How does it affect your health? And how can you avoid it? What Is Stress? Stress is a response to a pressure or threat. It is how the brain and body respond to any demand. Every type of demand or stressor—such as exercise, work, school, major life changes, or traumatic events—can be stressful. Stress triggers a surge of a hormone called adrenaline that temporarily affects the nervous system. As a result, when you're nervous or stressed you might feel your heartbeat or breathing get faster, your palms get sweaty, or your knees get shaky.
